Today's Gentle Reminder
===========================================
Depression Season?
It is flu and cold season and both of these illnesses have
the
potential to send you into depression. Why? Because when
we begin to feel tired from the cold and we are no longer
producing what we feel to be an adequate amount of work
we
begin to look down on ourselves. The cold or flu also mimic
the symptoms of depression and our brains may relate it
to
the depression not the virus or bug. We are also not seeing
as much sunshine so prepare yourself. When you feel tired
from being sick give yourself a hug not a bad time and when
you are staring at the grey of the day, stare at a good
book
instead. Reread The Wave Rider and refresh the excercises
and steps in your mind. Put on your head phones, listen
to
some POSITIVE music and breathe deeply because your
happiness does not come from anything that you see out
that window. It does not come from the sunny day and it
does not leave you on a grey day. It is the training in
your
mind that automatically reacts so today if you are feeling
down be good to yourself until you feel better.

Quote of the month
===========================================
If you have built castles in the air, your work need not
be lost;
that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under
them.
Henry David Thoreau
(1817-1862, American Essayist, Poet, Naturalist)
Do not give up the creative and wonderful ideas that are
a part
of the Wave Rider's gifted mind, but do take a moment to
make sure that your committments to take care of yourself,
your home and your family are looked after as well because
they are your foundation. It is only with the balance that
we
will succeed.
