New Website. Don't be shocked - It's the same TheWaveRiders.com™ with a new face

Today's Gentle Reminder
This moment...

In a moment my world of peace and joy can be dispersed to the thoughts of worry about the future. We know that fear is not faith and yet, our human minds would have us destroy the moment in the breeze to focus on the "what ifs of our future". "What if I lose my job and can't pay my mortgage?" "What if I get sick?" and my all time personal favorite...."What if I am not good enough?"

Don't let worry rob you of any singular precious moment. If you can stand and breathe - then cherish that you can stand and breathe because many cannot. If you today are not cold, not hungry and not sick - then cherish that for this moment, you can relax.

We waste and squander our precious moments thinking about the nice, new truck we really want or the better furniture and the nicer house when we could just enjoy right now that we are safe, warm and dry.

And if you are loved by a spouse, family member or friend, then cherish this moment of love because many do not have what you have today. Don't start thinking that the love from friends is not as good as the love from a husband or wife, just revelle in the love. Love energy is the same energy regardless of the source and yet often we might brush off the love we have to reach for a love that we believe can fulfill the space in our heart. If you can in this moment, take a deep breath and feel self-love, trust and faith, then you have accomplished more than most people ever will in a lifetime and you have accomplished all that you need.

Today, I stepped out into my wonderful yard and for a moment forgot to breathe in this moment of my life. I began to think about business and the upcoming school year, dentists and doctors and bills to pay and I almost walked right passed the moment of joy that I cherish. I stopped myself and threw away the what if thoughts, to breathe deeply and slowly and felt the energy change within my body from tension and negativity to relaxation and appreciation

In a moment, I changed from worry about the future..to faith and I relaxed.

Take care of yourself and take care of all of your moments.

Problems

We are often taught in life, to not avoid our problems...but to face them immediately and this is true. However, when we are depressed, we face problems that seem insurmountable and perhaps non-existent. So, when we are depressed, the only thing we should face, is our love of self and we should stand firm on it's behalf. Then when the depression has been told to hit the road, long enough that it leaves and we can once more see our truth, then we can begin to re-sculpt our world.
